Overview
Come ride a boat to the South of Puerto Vallarta (Cabo Corrietes) and visit the beautiful Waterfall of Quimixto where you will have the opportunity to swim in its refreshing waters; to get there, there is a 45 minutes walk or horse ride. If not interested to join this venture, you could relax in a charming beach called Las Animas for about 1.5 hour, until we return! This waterfall is the most beautiful one in the area and its access is less difficult compare to others, for its trail is well traced!
Another place that you should visit while in Cabo Corrientes is Yelapa; to get there we will go a little further to the south. Yelapa is a pintoresque little town incrusted in a mountain. Its norrow cobblestone hallways make it look like a puzzle where the biggest transportation are ATVs. In this place, there is also a waterfall, but you can only see its beauty during the winter time, because in dry seasons there is no water… Futhermore, there is also a river that flows into the sea. A recommendation once here, is not to miss the famous Yelapa Pie, but if you do, you could still find it at the Snack Section of the Malecon in Puerto Vallarta.
This tour offers you a great seightseeing. You will pass by little towns, beaches, mountain range and valleys. This is a scenary of unique beauty with rocks standing in striking formation raising up from the emeral waters affected by erosion and time. In addition, you will have the option to snorkel at Los Arcos if decide to go to Quimixto and either at Los Arcos or Majahuitas if decide to go to Yelapa; With an extra hour and a half, we could go to both places!
IMPORTANT:
** In High Season (Nov- May), you will have more opportunity if booked before 48 hours.
