Fiesta Mexicana & Special Events

Overview

Our colorful Mexico is full of festivities and most likely there is one in every single day of the year; the problem is to find them… Besides the big parades or festivities that most people know about, there are thousands of towns, municipalities, and colonies of cities, where people celebrate the main virgin or saint of their Church. These feasts usually consist of processions, horseback riding, fireworks, folkloric dances, and traditional music; mariachis, bands or groups. Occasionally, for a fee, you could see Cock Fights or Bull Riding. Also, it is common to see a feria, where you could find souvenirs, Mexican candies, fruit waters, alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and a great number of typical street food.
